Apply for a BAM Scholarship

BAM offers tuition scholarships to select students who demonstrate excellent work ethic, passion, and involvement in their music communities, as well as, financial need. 

Students interested in applying for a scholarship to BAM sessions should complete and submit the form below fulfilling the following requirements:

Requirements:

• Personal statement: Write a one (1) page statement sharing with us why you would be an excellent candidate to receive a BAM ensemble scholarship.

• Letter of recommendation: from your music teacher

• Please include your instrument and NYSSMA level

2026 Deadlines:

Scholarship applications must be received by BAM by the following dates to allow time to review and award prior to the beginning of each session.

• Spring Session application deadline: February 18, 2026

• Summer Music application deadline: June 12, 2026

• Fall Session application deadline: September 4, 2026
