BAM Youth Ensembles are led by conductors and educators Mr. Philip Gelfer, Ms. Gabriella Forgit, Dr. Amy Mason Sckipp, Mr. Michael Cordaro and Kimberly Hyland.
Our program offers the Young People’s Orchestra & Chamber Ensemble for string players, and the Young People’s Band & Wind Ensemble for band students.
Students are taught challenging literature, ensemble techniques, performance skills and sight reading. Young musicians discover a new and exciting ensemble experience designed to enhance and supplement school instruction.
Participants will play, make new friends, experience guest conductors/clinicians and have fun! We also regularly attend music competitions and festivals.

Chamber Ensemble
Students at or above NYSSMA Level 5
7:00pm - 8:00pm

Introducing the new BAM Band program — The Young People’s Band and Wind Ensemble.
The band program will rehearse Thursday evenings from 6-7 pm, and Wind Ensemble from 7-8 pm. Rehearsals will take place in the William Floyd School District (New Middle School).
